By using AMS, you agree to these terms. AMS is an organizational planning, maintenance tracking, and digital archive platform for General Aviation operators.
Not a substitute for regulatory records
AMS is not a substitute for FAA-required aircraft logbooks, mechanic approval for return to service under 14 CFR 43.9, Inspection Authorization approval under 43.11, or the pilot in command's airworthiness responsibility under 91.7. Operators and maintenance providers remain responsible for regulatory compliance.
AMS stores structured maintenance history and shop workflows that mirror the content mechanics and IAs must record. Unless your operation uses an FAA-accepted electronic record process, official signatures belong in the aircraft's logbooks — AMS supports that workflow with planning, exports, and archive; it does not remove the signature requirement by itself.
AMS is developing Part 43.9 / 43.11-aligned digital signature capabilities for shops that wish to use AMS as their primary maintenance record, subject to applicable FAA guidance. See Digital Logbook — regulatory clarity.
AMS Report
AMS Report™ and Trust Score reflect data available in the platform at the time of generation. Reports are informational aids for buyers, brokers, and operators — not warranties of airworthiness.
